Background

I.K. Ero is an executive adviser who works with leaders and organizations navigating complexity, change, and high-stakes decisions.

As Principal of Strength With Strategy (SWS), she provides strategic advisory, leadership development, and organizational alignment support—helping clients bring clarity to competing priorities, strengthen decision-making, and align strategy with execution.

Her work draws on a distinctive combination of governance insight, systems thinking, and strengths-based approaches to support leaders in building resilient teams, improving performance, and leading with confidence and purpose. She works across sectors, including with senior leaders in the Government of Canada, supporting organizational transformation and leadership renewal.

I.K. previously served as the United Nations Independent Expert on the enjoyment of human rights by persons with albinism (2015–2021), where she advised governments across four continents and led global efforts to advance protection, inclusion, and policy reform. Her work involved engaging complex political, legal, and institutional systems, and contributing to international standards and advocacy strategies.

Her contributions have been recognized with an honorary PhD in Law from Lancaster University and the International Advocate Award from the U.S. Council on Disabilities.

Recognized by UNESCO among the world’s top seventy women speakers, I.K. holds advanced degrees in Law, Political Science, and Dispute Resolution from leading Canadian universities. She serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and continues to engage globally through advisory work, speaking, and writing.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys landscape photography and learning new languages.

Cordelia Abankwa is an accomplished executive coach and senior leader with over 30 years of experience in the Ontario Public Service and municipal government.

As Founder of Nante Yie Inc., she empowers executives and teams to lead with clarity, equity, and purpose through transformational coaching and organizational development.

A former Assistant Deputy Minister of Employment and Training, Cordelia has led large-scale modernization and inclusion initiatives recognized with multiple national and provincial awards.
Through Nante Yie Inc., Cordelia also builds leadership capacity through social enterprise — mentoring emerging leaders and advancing economic empowerment.

Judith Rovers

Background

Judith brings over 25 years of international experience, split between Western Europe and East Africa, where she has been based in Tanzania for 15 years. With a career spanning both line management and consulting, she supports organisations in strengthening leadership, collaboration and team performance—especially in complex and fast-changing environments.

Since 2018, Judith has led the Leadership and Team Effectiveness practice at Lumen East Africa as Director. Her previous roles include serving as Associate Director People & Change at PwC East Africa.

Certified in Gallup CliftonStrengths®, Insights Discovery® and Executive & Management Coaching (University of Cape Town), Judith supports professionals across East Africa in driving results by strengthening authentic connection, grounded in deeper self- and interpersonal awareness. She holds a BA and MA in International Business Communication from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.

Through Lumen EA, Judith partners with Strength With Strategy (SWS) to deliver transformative coaching and organisational development experiences that bridge cultures and drive sustainable impact.

utside of her professional commitments, Judith enjoys time with friends, exercise, being outdoors, cooking, and continually learning, with a particular interest in human psychology.
